SC25 - Management of display screen equipment

The widespread use of computers in the STFC means that hazards arising from the incorrect set up of DSE and workstations can apply to virtually everyone.

The code requires that SHE Group provide specialist advice to managers and staff, and gives line managers the responsibility for ensuring that all their staff undertake:

• DSE user training – now available on-line, and
• a Workstation Risk Assessment of their workstation – also on line in Totara​ – when setting up a new workstation, when the workstation changes significantly or when a problem is suspected.
